Enterprise Portal Bug

A fellow traveler in NW IdM world, Geoff, recently encountered  a bug while provisioning 6,000 users to enterprise portal(7.0) with basic roles.  The job failed and it corrupted the portal.  Here is the error message: Exception from Modify operation:com.sap.idm.ic. ToPassException:
